Help us find our ‘Bellwether Spectacles’ and imagine the possibilities of the ‘Never Builts’!

Calling all Architects, Designers, Urbanists curious City philes and whoever else is listening - we need your Unbuilt works!

The PLAN Radio is running a competition (more like an amusing documentation process) to find the most inspired Unbuilt projects and propositions for Greater Adelaide!

The submissions will form not only the beginnings of an ongoing catalogue of unbuilt work but will be in the running to win the inaugural prize for Adelaide’s most affecting Unbuilt work.

The winning project will also be published in Architecture Australia and of course plastered all over The PLAN and our local media partners.

Public Jury Presentation

Come and join us for a glimpse at an alternate Adelaide as The PLAN Radio and Architectural Window Systems (AWS) present a night of outtakes, b-sides and bellwether spectacles of the unreal & unbuilt projects from in and around Adelaide. 

A public jury chaired by Government Architect Ben Hewett along with The Plan Radio hosts will select from a shortlist of ‘projects that never came to pass’ the most affecting work as the inaugural winner of the 2014 Unbuilt Adelaide trophy.

An exhibition of the entries will be on display at the Festival Hub from Saturday 11 October and will initiate the first in a series that will begin to document Adelaide’s Unbuilt Work.
