One:One Adelaide
One:One is a fun, fast-paced design and build collaboration between architectural professionals and students, with the aim of forging relationships and forming creative discourse. It began in Sydney in 2011 and is now a national event held in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and WA.
On Friday 10 October the One:One team will transform the Published Arthouse into the central Hub for the Festival. The One.One initiative encourages collaboration between 40 architecture students and 40 professionals, who will get together in mixed teams to design and construct a full-scale item, in response to a set brief to build a fully functional bar fit out using only recycled materials supplied.
Once constructed, this playful installation will be opened up at 6pm for members of the design industry and the general public, to showcase all the One:One creations and celebrate over food, drinks and live entertainment.
